LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada's Congressional representatives are sharing their Vegas Born pride in the nation's capital, celebrating the Golden Knights' Stanley Cup victory Wednesday.

U.S. Rep. Dina Titus introduced a House resolution formally commemorating the championship, co-sponsored by fellow Reps. Mark Amodei, Susie Lee and Steven Horsford.

Horsford also celebrated the win on the House floor.

"In their six years, they have blazed into NHL history and energized their fans in Nevada and across the nation," he said.

Meanwhile, Sen. Jacky Rosen wore a Vegas jersey while walking the halls of the Capitol building.

"The @GoldenKnights' victory last night had us all cheering from coast-to-coast!" Rosen tweeted.

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto told News 3 she stayed up late in Washington watching the game with her husband.

"And unfortunately for my neighbors in our apartment complex where we live, they heard us as well," she joked.

President Joe Biden also congratulated the Golden Knights via Twitter on Wednesday.
