The president of the League of American Workers (LAW) said the presidential election in Nevada is going to be determined by voter turnout by American workers.

"My organization has been doing polls all year long, but the only poll that matters is Election Day,” Steve Cortes, president and founder of LAW, told Silver State TImes. “And in battleground states like Nevada, this is going to come down to voter turnout.”

“If American workers who are sick of higher grocery costs, higher housing costs, and illegal aliens taking their jobs turnout in Nevada, Donald Trump is going to win this race,” Cortes said.

Former President Donald Trump (R) is behind Vice President Kamala Harris (D) by one point in Nevada in the 2024 race for the White House, according to the latest poll of Nevada voters released by TechnoMetrica.

The September poll from American Greatness reported Harris had a 1% lead in a head-to-head matchup among likely voters, which is well within the calculated margin of error the poll reported.

Twenty-three percent of voters surveyed said they are not firmly decided and are willing to change their minds before November.

The majority, 60% of Nevada voters said they were better off financially under President Trump than under Biden-Harris.

Sixty-eight percent of Nevada voters said they believe the media works against Trump and in favor of Harris. In specifically Democrat voters in the state, 50% believe the media works in favor of Harris and against Trump.

Nevada voters prefer Trump to handle national security efforts by a +9% lead. They also prefer Trump over Harris on border effort 56-34%, a 22 point lead.

The American Greatness/TIPP survey was conducted online between Sept. 23 to September 25 among 736 registered Nevada voters who were likely to vote in the November election.
