Henderson Police Conclude Joining Forces Event Targeting Speeders

The Henderson Police Department concluded its 14th campaign under the current Joining Forces Program.

During the enforcement initiative that ran from June 27th through July 18th, 2022, Henderson Police stopped a total of 578 motorists.

Of the 578 traffic stops, motorists were issued 372 speeding citations, 10 citations for distracted driving (such as cell phone use), and several other citations issued for other traffic related offenses.

Henderson Police Department received $237,300 in federal funding for the enhanced enforcement initiatives through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2022 Joining Forces program.
