Judge James Russell denied a challenge to the state’s vote outcome by the Trump campaign.
Trump was seeking tens of thousands of votes to be disqualified from the total.
“The court finds there is no credible or reliable evidence that the 2020 election in Nevada was affected by fraud,” Russell wrote.
Russell, a judge of the First District Court of Nevada, strongly worded the dismissal.
“Much of the Contestants' evidence consists of non deposition evidence in the form of witness declarations,” Russell wrote. “These declarations fall outside the scope of the contest statute, which provides that election contest 'shall be tried and submitted so far as maybe possible upon depositions in written or oral argument as the court may order.'”
In it, he found that evidence the Trump campaign submitted to support allegations of voting machine failure and inferior ballot signature verification was subpar.
Trump previously called out Dominion Voting Systems, who provides many of the state’s voting machines.
The integrity of Dominion Voting machines has been questioned in several states, including Nevada.
