Reported glitches in Dominion Voting Systems voting machines that have demonstrably resulted in altered vote counts in at least one Michigan county are being assessed.
Dominion has voting machines in three states where Donald Trump has filed lawsuits – Michigan, Georgia and Nevada.
The voting glitches came to light after Antrim County, Michigan, which is highly Republican, turned in results showing Joe Biden had won the county.
The Texas Secretary of State and the Texas Attorney General’s Office both rejected Dominion Voting Systems three times, saying it didn’t meet basic security standards, but other states have certified the use of the system.
In Michigan, after 6,000 votes were tabulated for Biden instead of Trump in Antrim County, Michigan Republican Party Chairwoman Laura Cox said that more than half of the state’s counties used the same software and they needed to be examined to confirm if there were similar discrepancies.
In Nevada, Trump and the Nevada GOP are alleging voter fraud occurred and that hundreds of dead people voted in Clark County.
Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, gave several examples of people who died in 2017, but, somehow, the county received ballots from them and it isn’t clear if those ballots were counted or rejected.
Trump’s campaign personnel also alleged whistleblowers made claims to witnessing fraud and other discrepancies and received a sworn affidavit from an election worker in Clark County who claimed to witness fraud.
