In response to a post by Sen. Ted Cruz on X, Brown stated: "Late last night, EVERY single Dem Senator on the ballot in 2024 voted: in FAVOR of Biden sending billions to Iran, AGAINST deporting illegals who assault police officers; AGAINST the Laken Riley Act; & FOR flying 320K illegals from their counties into the U.S."

The Laken Riley Act is a piece of legislation that has already been passed by the House. According to News Nation, it would require the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to detain illegal immigrants who are caught committing crimes. The bill is named after Laken Riley, a nursing student who was killed on the University of Georgia's campus by Jose Ibarra, an undocumented immigrant from Venezuela.

Upon its passage through the House, Congressman Mike Rogers, author of the Laken Riley Act said: "The Laken Riley Act is a key piece in our fight to restore the rule of law and get criminal illegal aliens off our streets," according to a press release.

Brown is not only a Purple Heart recipient but also a small business owner as per his website. He joined U.S. Military Academy at West Point following the 9/11 attacks and is currently running for U.S. Senate in Nevada.
