Nevada: How many students met or exceeded English expectations on CCR in 2021-22 school year?

Test 10

Of the 32,408 students who took part in the English CCR in 2021-22, 33.4% met the testing standard while 11.8% exceeded expectations, according to the Nevada Accountability Portal.

The number of Nevada students who succeeded (met or exceeded test expectations) grew by 6.4% from the previous school year.

The College and Career Readiness Test is given to students in Grade 11 to determine if they are ready for the higher standards and difficulties of college and post-secondary learning. Scores on the CCR don't influence if a student graduates on time.

In Nevada, 26% of students met or exceeded expectations on the math competence test and 42% of children achieved the same expectations in reading.

In comparison to the national average of 90%, Nevada has the 40th-largest educational system in the country, with 94% of all K–12 students receiving their education in public institutions.
