The AS in Accounting program is a 24 month, 96 quarter credit hour program, that prepares students with a comprehensive set of skills necessary to become employable in entry-level accounting clerk or bookkeeping positions in areas such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax and general bookkeeping.

Instructors at Las Vegas College are experienced in their field, and offer students real-world expertise that makes a real difference to their training. Limited class sizes mean every student benefits from more attention and support. At LVC, that support doesn’t end at the classroom door; LVC is proud to be a close, caring community, where students, teachers, and administrative staff help and support each other so that the students’ experience is as rewarding and fulfilling as possible. LVC’s support extends to alumni as well; at LVC, graduates are welcomed to return for career-placement assistance and free refresher courses! The Career Services Department at LVC advises students and is available to assist every graduate in the search for the employment for which he or she has been training. Because we know our students are busy people; our programs are designed to accommodate busy schedules. Many of our students juggle school with part-time or even full-time jobs, and others balance their training with family responsibilities.
