Nevada Health Centers and Intermountain Health are organizing a Provider Meet & Greet for the Wendover community on Wednesday, February 18, from 3 to 6 PM at Fratelli Pizza in West Wendover. The event is designed as a casual opportunity for residents to meet Brock Vance, PA-C, and Rachel Grant, APRN, who serve patients at the Wendover Community Health Center.
The gathering aims to foster open conversation between healthcare providers and community members without the formal setting of appointments or exam rooms. Attendees can ask questions about the care provided and learn more about services available through Nevada Health Centers, including family medicine, preventive care, sick visits, chronic condition management, and ongoing primary care.
“Events like this are about building relationships and making healthcare feel more approachable. By meeting providers face-to-face outside of the clinic, patients can put a name to a face, ask questions they may not think to ask during a visit, and get a better sense of the care team serving their community,” according to organizers.
The event is open to everyone in the area. Guests can stop by at any time during the event hours or RSVP in advance by scanning a QR code.
