US Senate candidate hosts Ben Shapiro in Sept. 4 event

US Senate candidate Sam Brown will host Ben Shapiro in a live discussion in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Sept. 4. The news comes from an EventBrite announcement on Aug. 29.

According to the EventBrite announcement, the duo is expected to discuss Nevada’s future and how to revive the American Dream. Event attendees will be notified of the location prior to the event. Doors open at 1 p.m., although Brown and Shapiro’s hour-long event won’t begin until 2 p.m. The event is free of charge, but interested individuals must RSVP on the EventBrite website.

Ben Shapiro is a co-founder of The Daily Wire, an author, and a conservative commentator. According to The Daily Wire’s website, he also hosts the “Ben Shapiro Show” podcast.

Brown’s platform includes public safety, energy, cryptocurrency and blockchain, the economy, education, and immigration. His campaign focuses on releasing targeted areas from the control of the federal Bureau of Land Management and addressing what he calls the “water crisis threatening our state,” according to his website.

Sam Brown is a military veteran and Purple Heart recipient who was medically retired. According to his “About Sam” webpage on his campaign website, four months into his deployment, Brown and his team were involved in an explosion from a roadside bombing. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and launched a small business providing emergency pharmaceutical support for veterans while working as a manager at an Amazon fulfillment center.
