UNLV’s Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) has celebrated its 50th anniversary by releasing its 2025 Economic Outlook. The event brought together economists, business leaders, and policymakers to discuss economic trends and forecasts.

CBER, which operates within the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, has served as Nevada’s primary economic research center since 1975. The center focuses on applied research using data analysis to support businesses, government agencies, and communities. Its work includes economic forecasting, market analysis, surveys, and impact studies.

The center aims to provide insights into local, state, and national economic conditions. CBER also serves as a resource for decision makers and media outlets on various economic issues. By connecting public and private sectors with university expertise, CBER offers collaborative research opportunities and innovative solutions that benefit Nevada as well as other regions.

“CBER connects the public and private sector with university expertise as a benefit which provides collaborative research and innovative solutions for Nevada and beyond,” according to the release.
