This fall, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Nursing began its new Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) program. The first cohort consists of 16 students. The graduate-level program is designed to train students in providing patient-centered care and administering anesthesia for various medical procedures and surgeries.

The launch of this program comes as part of broader efforts by UNLV to address workforce needs in healthcare within the state and nationally.
