UNLV music students earn top honors at state violin competition

School of Music students Szeyi Fung and Lana Vladic were recognized at the Nevada Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Young Artist Violin Division competition. Fung received First Prize, while Vladic was named Second Prize (Alternate Winner). The MTNA National Competitions are known for being highly competitive, drawing thousands of student musicians from across the United States each year.

With this recognition, Fung will move forward to represent the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the state of Nevada at the MTNA Division Competition.
