UNLV’s bachelor’s program in Entertainment Engineering and Design (EED) has received accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). This achievement makes it the only ABET-accredited bachelor’s program in EED worldwide. The program is a collaboration between the university’s colleges of Engineering and Fine Arts, combining technical theater with engineering to prepare students for roles in the entertainment industry.

The curriculum is designed to give graduates a strong grounding in engineering principles, new technologies, and materials science, along with an understanding of the artistic requirements needed for live and experiential entertainment.
