A project aimed at improving accessibility on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus has been completed near the well-known Flashlight sculpture. The work was carried out by UNLV’s Planning and Construction department and is intended to make the university more inclusive for all students and visitors.

The improvements include new steps built alongside an ADA-accessible ramp, seating areas, better lighting, updated signage, and landscaping that balances both function and appearance. These updates are ready as the College of Fine Arts prepares to welcome back students and audiences for the rest of its performing season.

These changes reflect a broader effort in higher education to create campuses that are accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities.
