UNLV and Las Vegas Sands recently held the first U.S.-China Dialogue Symposium, which gathered representatives from academia, business, and diplomacy to discuss ways to improve the relationship between the United States and China. The event included remarks from members of Nevada’s federal delegation as well as ambassadors from both countries. Their comments centered on building stronger connections at both individual and institutional levels.

The symposium was organized through a partnership involving Las Vegas Sands, the Sands Institute for Chinese Language and Culture, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. China Business Council, the Vegas Chamber, and the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce.
