Sam Brown, a retired U.S. Army Captain and small business owner, is seeking a Nevada U.S. Senate seat. He has recently received official endorsements from former Nevada Lt. Govs. Mark Hutchison and Lorraine Hunt-Bono.

Hutchison expressed his support for Brown in the press release, stating, “I am delighted to endorse my friend Sam Brown because he’s a leader who understands the sacrifices and struggles required to create a small business and then build it into a Nevada success story.” He continued, “Sam will be an ally for all Nevadans in the U.S. Senate because he will fight for policies and laws that support local businesses and their employees. When Sam wins this election, we will have a pro-growth, pro-business, pro-worker advocate in Washington. Sam Brown has a servant leader’s heart and embodies the entrepreneurial spirit our state and country need to thrive, and I am proud to support him.”

In her endorsement shared through the press release, Hunt-Bono underscored Brown’s dedication to local and small businesses. She said, “As the former Lieutenant Governor and small businesswoman, I’ve shared a part in the economic expansion of Nevada. I know the importance of strong leadership and entrepreneurial mind, and Sam embodies both. His commitment to championing small businesses, diversifying our economy, and expanding tourism—the backbone of our economy—is unwavering. Sam understands these sectors’ vital role in Nevada’s prosperity and will fight for their interests here and in DC.”

According to an earlier press release, Brown filed his candidacy paperwork at the state capital last month with the intention of unseating incumbent Democrat Sen. Jacky Rosen in November.

Brown was quoted in the press release saying: “The Biden Administration and Democrat leadership in the Senate have not served Nevadans well. This is a movement of ‘We the People’ and we are going to put people over politics.”
