The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced temporary traffic restrictions on Tropicana Avenue, Harmon Avenue, and Interstate 15 (I-15) for upcoming work on traffic-signal timing, integration, and additional signage installation. This initiative follows a review of traffic patterns aimed at improving traffic operations.

From 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18 to 5:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, the northbound I-15 off-ramp to Harmon Avenue will be closed. The Harmon Avenue on-ramp to southbound I-15 and the Valley View connector ramp to Harmon Avenue will also be closed. During this period, Harmon Avenue will be reduced to two lanes between Valley View Boulevard and I-15, while both directions of I-15 will be limited to four lanes at Harmon Avenue.

Further restrictions are planned from 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22. Tropicana Avenue will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between Las Vegas Boulevard and Valley View Boulevard. Additionally, the eastbound Tropicana Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-15 and the westbound Tropicana Avenue on-ramp to southbound I-15 will be closed. The northbound I-15 off-ramp to westbound Tropicana Avenue will also face closure.

Temporary traffic signals will guide motorists through these work zones. NDOT advises drivers to exercise caution and consider alternate routes if possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze for public notifications about highway restrictions. Weather or other factors may cause schedule changes.
