The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced an updated schedule for traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 (I-215) as part of the I-215 Pavement Preservation Project. This initiative aims to enhance nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane. The traffic restrictions are necessary for electrical improvements.

From Monday, December 15 to Friday, December 19, there will be intermittent shoulder closures on both eastbound and westbound I-215 between I-15 and Airport Connector from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additionally, lane reductions will occur on Warm Springs Road at I-215 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, December 15 and 16. On Tuesday and Wednesday nights, December 16 and 17, lanes will be reduced on Las Vegas Boulevard at Hidden Well Road from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in work zones and consider alternate routes when possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to keep the public informed about planned highway restrictions. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors.
