Interested parties will receive information on federal infrastructure projects coming to the state during Nevada’s inaugural Infrastructure Summit.

According to a news release, Nevada’s Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak announced on Friday that the summit would involve an entire day of state subsidiaries, stakeholders and community affiliates sharing relevant information.

“I am committed to using these once-in-a-generation infrastructure investments to rebuild our highways, roads and bridges, connect our communities, upgrade our water infrastructure, improve sustainable transportation, and create thousands of good-paying jobs for hard-working Nevadans,” Sisolak said in the release.

The summit will be held on Sept. 30 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The day will start with a welcome session, followed by data sessions regarding upcoming projects.  Attendees will be served lunch while listening to a keynote speaker before partaking in an animated panel.

“I look forward to coming together to hear how we can continue to work together on behalf of Nevadans,” the governor said.

The state government expects more information regarding speakers will be revealed in the coming weeks.
