About the Southern Nevada Urban Micro Academy:

Established in 2020 by the City of North Las Vegas, the Southern Nevada Urban Micro Academy (SNUMA) is a free, innovative micro-school program that provides safe, in-person learning and individualized education plans for children in grades K-8.

This year, we are thrilled to be adding a hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) focus with our operating partner, Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy!

Dedicated in-class teachers and interventionists support customized lesson plans for each student in classes of no more than 18 students. SNUMA also provides students with access to nationally-recognized online curricula to supplement in-person learning.

All curriculum follows Nevada Academic Content Standards, and SNUMA follows all national, state and local guidance and directives.
