Ramp Closures, Lane Reductions Scheduled for I-15 South Widening Project

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced upcoming ramp and lane closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. The restrictions are necessary for landscaping, soundwall painting, and paving along the corridor.

Planned Closures and Lane Reductions:

Nightly Closures (8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.)

 Monday, February 24 – Friday, February 28

  • Northbound I-15 will be reduced to one lane between St. Rose Parkway and Cactus Avenue.
  • The northbound I-15 off-ramp to Cactus Avenue will be closed.

Intermittent Daytime Closures (6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

 Monday, February 24 – Friday, March 28

  • The southbound I-15 off-ramp to Starr Avenue will experience intermittent closures.
  • The St. Rose Parkway on-ramp to southbound I-15 will also close intermittently.

 Advance notice will be provided before each closure.

About the I-15 South Widening Project:

The ongoing $86 million project aims to widen and enhance nearly nine miles of I-15 between Sloan Road and Warm Springs Road to improve traffic flow and safety. More project details are available at www.dot.nv.gov/i15SouthProject.

Motorist Advisory:

Drivers should exercise caution in work zones and consider alternate routes when possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to keep travelers updated on planned restrictions.
