The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15 as part of the I-15 South Widening Project. These restrictions are needed for milling, paving, striping, and loop detector installation. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors.

From Sunday, August 24 to Wednesday, August 27, northbound I-15 will be reduced to one lane from Sloan Road to Starr Avenue. The northbound on and off-ramps to St. Rose Parkway will also be closed during this period.

On Sunday night, August 24 through Monday morning, August 25, northbound I-15 will have only one lane open from Blue Diamond Road to Warm Springs Road. Additionally, the Blue Diamond Road/I-215 slip ramp to northbound I-15 will be closed.

Southbound I-15 will see nightly reductions to one lane from Warm Springs Road to Starr Avenue on Sunday and Monday nights. There will also be intermittent closures of southbound ramps in this area.

From Tuesday night, August 26 through Friday morning, August 29, southbound I-15 will be reduced to one lane from Cactus Avenue to Sloan Road with intermittent ramp closures between Cactus Avenue and St. Rose Parkway.

Additionally, ongoing work is reducing southbound I-15 to three lanes from Warm Springs Road to Blue Diamond Road around the clock.

There will be no traffic restrictions over the Labor Day Holiday weekend from Saturday, August 30 through Monday, September 1.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in work zones and consider alternate routes when possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze for public updates on highway restrictions.
