Nevada War Room announced that Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford spent more than one-third of the year traveling out of state, citing records the group says show trips funded by donors and special interests.

According to a post on X by Nevada War Room, Ford’s travels are in contrast to his statements about rising costs affecting Nevada families and his commitment to addressing these issues as governor. The post argues that Ford is disconnected from the challenges faced by average Nevada families.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Ford was out of state for approximately 137 days in 2024, including work-related, campaign, and personal trips. The funding for these travels reportedly included $82,100 from campaign funds and $35,000 from third-party sponsorships. In comparison, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo traveled out of state for around 30 days during the same period.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there have been national increases in costs over the past year. The energy index rose by 4.2 percent over the 12 months ending November 2025, while the food index increased by 2.6 percent. These increases contribute to cost pressures in housing, health care, and energy for families across the United States.

Nevada War Room aims to promote policies that benefit Nevada residents under Republican Governor Joe Lombardo’s leadership. It focuses on economic prosperity and public safety while advocating for solutions that strengthen families and communities within the state.
