Did you know on average, 4 out of 10 low-income households in rural Nevada are cost burdened, meaning they pay more than 30% of their income for housing?

The Nevada Rural Housing Authority (NRHA) is committed to promoting, providing, and financing affordable housing opportunities for all rural Nevadans. NRHA offers information about their down payment assistance program, Home At Last, which can be shared with employees.

NRHA aims to provide housing solutions by challenging stigma and supporting the idea that all Nevadans deserve a place to call “home.” Their services include homeownership programs, rental services, community development initiatives, and weatherization and home repair. NRHA serves Nevada’s 15 rural counties and the rural portions of Clark and Washoe Counties—a coverage area of 110,000 square miles and home to more than 1.3 million Nevadans. For more information, visit www.NVRural.org.

A united effort is encouraged to address housing issues at the core of Nevada’s recovery, success, and future.
