Members of the Nevada Health Centers (NVHC) team took part in the annual American Cancer Society (ACS) Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk held in Las Vegas. The event featured sunny and mild weather, which allowed NVHC employees, their families, and members of the public to gather and participate.
During the walk, the NVHC team promoted awareness about breast cancer and shared information about the Mammovan, a mobile mammography unit operated by NVHC to provide screening services to communities across Nevada.
“A huge thank you goes out to everyone who participated and supported the event. Your enthusiasm and dedication made a significant impact, and we are grateful for your continued support,” stated NVHC representatives.
The walk is one of several community outreach efforts that aim to highlight resources available for breast cancer screening and to encourage early detection among residents.
