On October 29, Nevada Health Centers’ Northern Mobile Medical Services team visited Austin, Nevada, to provide free CPR classes for residents. The event was led by Emily Finley and coordinated by Program Manager Cheyenne Bryant.
The training session aimed to equip community members with essential lifesaving skills. According to organizers, the initiative was designed to reassure rural residents that healthcare education and support are accessible even in remote areas. “By delivering preventive education and medical services directly to these communities, our mobile teams help bridge the gap and ensure that every Nevadan has the opportunity to live a healthier, safer life,” said representatives from Nevada Health Centers.
Limited access to healthcare is a common challenge in rural parts of Nevada due to geographic isolation. To address this issue, Nevada Health Centers continues outreach efforts such as mobile clinics offering medical, dental, and mammography services throughout the state.
Nevada Health Centers operates a network of health centers and mobile units dedicated to serving rural and frontier regions across Nevada.
