Employees from Nevada Health Centers in the Reno and Carson City area recently visited the Eddy House, a local organization that supports unhoused young adults aged 18 to 24. The visit included bringing the Nevada Health Centers Mobile Medical Unit to the Eddy House on September 26, where more than 30 participants and staff members toured the facility.

After viewing the mobile unit, attendees, accompanied by Nevada Health Centers Ambassadors, walked to the organization’s Willow Street location nearby for an additional tour. According to those involved, this event was considered valuable for sharing information about health resources available in the neighborhood.

The Eddy House provides shelter, transitional housing, education, and training for young adults experiencing homelessness. The collaboration aimed to highlight health services accessible to those supported by the Eddy House.

For further details about services at the Reno Willow Street location of Nevada Health Centers, more information is available through their website.
