Allison Anderson, a Community and Government Relations Manager at i-80 Gold Corp., shared her thoughts on the mining industry in recognition of National Miners Day. Anderson is based in Sparks, Nevada.

Anderson highlighted that modern mining is often misunderstood by the public. She emphasized the importance of people in mining operations: “Mining operations are only successful because of the people. The mining industry is full of smart and passionate people working together to solve problems and extract critical minerals responsibly.”

An event related to the mining sector is scheduled from September 3-5 at Lake Tahoe.
