The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced updated lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15 as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. These restrictions are necessary for installing loop detectors and improving high-mast lighting. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors.

From 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, to 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, the Blue Diamond Road on-ramp to northbound I-15 will be closed, although the eastbound Blue Diamond Road to northbound I-15 flyover will remain open. On Monday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 9, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., the Blue Diamond Road on-ramp to southbound I-15 will be closed for two nights.

On Tuesday, December 9, from 8:00 p.m. to Wednesday, December 10 at 5:00 a.m., the St. Rose Parkway on-ramp to northbound I-15 will be closed. Additionally, from Thursday, December 11 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, December 12 at 5:00 a.m., both north and southbound lanes of I-15 will be reduced to one lane between Starr Avenue and Sloan Road.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in work zones and consider alternate routes when possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to provide information about planned highway restrictions. Further details can be found at dot.nv.gov or by calling (775) 888-7000. For current state highway conditions, visit nvroads.com or call 511 before traveling.
