The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has released an updated schedule for lane closures on Interstate 15 (I-15) as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. These restrictions are necessary for profile grinding and lighting operations, and the schedule may change due to weather or other factors. No work will occur over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

From 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 to midnight on Monday, June 30, the Blue Diamond Road on-ramp to southbound I-15 will be closed. The same ramp to northbound I-15 will close from midnight to 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 30.

On Monday, June 30 from 8:00 p.m. to Tuesday, July 1 at 5:00 a.m., northbound I-15 will be reduced to two lanes between Blue Diamond Road and Warm Springs Road. The eastbound Blue Diamond Road flyover ramp to northbound I-15 will also be closed.

Further closures include the southbound I-15 off-ramp and collector-distributor ramp to Blue Diamond Road from Tuesday, July 1 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, July 2 at 5:00 a.m.

Nightly lane reductions are scheduled for Sunday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 9 between various points along I-15. Northbound lanes will be reduced near Silverado Ranch Boulevard and St Rose Parkway, while southbound lanes will see reductions from Starr Avenue to Cactus Avenue.

Ongoing work includes a reduction of southbound I-15 to three lanes from Warm Springs Road to Blue Diamond Road and northbound I-15 between Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road through July 2025.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in work zones and consider alternate routes when possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze for public updates on highway restrictions.
