The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has released an updated schedule for traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 as part of its pavement preservation project. The initiative aims to enhance nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane. These restrictions are essential for installing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), which utilize technology to monitor traffic conditions in real time.

The closures will occur nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 1, and Monday, February 2. During these times, the Warm Springs on-ramp to westbound I-215 and the Warm Springs Road on-ramp to northbound Airport Connector will be closed. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in work zones and consider alternate routes when possible.

NDOT collaborates with Waze to provide information about planned highway restrictions. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors. For more details on state highways, visit dot.nv.gov or call (775) 888-7000. Current state highway conditions can be found at nvroads.com or by calling 511 before traveling.
