The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced updates to traffic restrictions on Interstate 215 as part of the I-215 Pavement Preservation Project. The project aims to enhance nearly four miles of I-215 between the I-15 interchange and Windmill Lane.

From December 8 to December 12, there will be intermittent shoulder closures on both eastbound and westbound I-215 between I-15 and Airport Connector from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On Monday, December 8, a right lane closure is scheduled for westbound Hidden Well Road at Las Vegas Boulevard from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following day.

Further closures include right lane restrictions on north and southbound Las Vegas Boulevard at Hidden Well Road on Tuesday, December 9, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with additional nightly closures on December 9 and December 10 during the same hours.

On Thursday, December 11, the westbound I-215 off-ramp to Russell Road/Frank Sinatra Drive (NB I-15) will be closed from 9:00 p.m. until Friday morning at 5:00 a.m.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in work zones and consider alternate routes when possible. NDOT collaborates with Waze to keep the public informed about highway restrictions. The schedule may change due to weather or other factors.
