City Of Fallon issued the following announcement on Jan. 07.

We have our temporary transfer station located at 327 N Maine Street.  The cost of disposal is $5.00, cash only, a load.  Recycling, burn barrels, tires, furniture, and household trash is accepted.  Scrap metal is accepted at no charge.  No hazardous waste or liquids, of any kind, are permitted.  Open 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Unfortunately, the Transfer Station located at  2900 Enterprise Way will remain close.  At this time, we are unsure when the Transfer Station will reopen for operation and disposal.  We are sorry for the inconvenience and will keep you updated when we are able to offer you more information.
