CHURCHILL COUNTY: The federal government declared Juneteenth (June 19th) a holiday

Churchill County issued the following announcement on June 15.

Today, the federal government declared Juneteenth (June 19th) a holiday, to recognize the end of slavery in the U.S. 

As such, and in accordance with state law, Churchill County offices will be closed on Friday, June 18. We reopen on Monday, June 21.

If you have business with the courts on June 18, please contact them directly for guidance.
