Out of the $15 billion in total tax revenue collected by Nevada in 2024, $13.5 million came from hunting and fishing license taxes, representing an increase from the previous year, when the total was $13.3 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
In 2024, Nevada collected a total of $15 billion in state taxes, with $1.8 billion coming from property taxes—an increase of 21.7% compared to the previous year.
Nevada generated $395 million from motor fuels sales taxes in 2024, ranking 37th among U.S. states.
