Boulder City Hospital recently issued the following announcement.

From its purpose-built inception some 90 years ago on November 15, 1931, Boulder City Hospital has always been community-minded and people-inspired.Originally built to provide medical care for the 5,218 daily workers on the Hoover Dam construction project and their families, Boulder City Hospital has seen its fair share of changes. However, one constant remains true for the Hospital – its unwavering support from the people of Boulder City and the surrounding areas – from Depression Era jobseekers and early town settlers to local residents who call Boulder City home

Help Us Grow

Established in 1995, the Boulder City Hospital Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization whose purpose is to raise funds for capital equipment and needs-based improvements to the nonprofit Boulder City Hospital through fund development, special events, and donor contributions. For more than 25 years, the Boulder City Hospital Foundation has supported the Hospital, and from 2015-2019 raised $1,035,000 to fund equipment for the Hospital’s radiology, physical therapy, emergency, long term care, and partial hospitalization programs.

The pandemic continues to take a toll on the Foundation and its ability to raise money for the Hospital. Philanthropy News Digest recently reported that 42% of small charitable organizations have been the heaviest hit in the nonprofit sector, with overall donations down 20% from 2019.Together, the Boulder City Hospital Foundation and Boulder City Hospital are appealing to our community members to help us with a tax-deductible donation.

In order to continue to provide the necessary healthcare services our community so desperately needs, we need you. We are committed to improving healthcare choices for our community, making healthcare services accessible, and continuing our mission as stewards of the health and well-being of the community.
